Intellectual property
The website's structure, visual identity, texts, source code, databases, logos and the SectorKart trademark are protected by intellectual property law and remain the exclusive property of the publisher or its partners.
Any reproduction, representation, extraction or reuse, in whole or in part, of the website or its content, by any means whatsoever and without prior written authorisation, is prohibited and constitutes infringement.
Circuit names, chassis, engine and timing equipment brands mentioned on the website belong to their respective owners and are referenced solely for technical identification purposes.
User-generated content
Lap times, sessions, telemetry data, profiles, photos and comments published on SectorKart are the responsibility of their authors. Each user warrants that they hold the necessary rights over the content they publish and undertakes not to publish inaccurate or misleading data, or data infringing third-party rights.
SectorKart acts as a hosting provider within the meaning of Article 6-I-2 of the LCEN with regard to such content. The publisher reserves the right to hide, correct or delete any content that is manifestly unlawful, fraudulent or contrary to the lap time reliability rules, in particular following a report.
One team per person
A person can belong to only one team at a time, regardless of their role: owner, manager, driver, reserve, coach or mechanic. This rule applies to team creation, accepted invitations, profile restoration, profile claims and ownership transfers. Suspension or archival does not mean leaving a team. To change teams, a person must first leave their current team; an owner must first transfer ownership or delete their team. An invitation that has not been accepted is not a membership. Previous memberships and lap times remain in the history.
Rules for retaining names and sporting history
Closing an account, whether requested by the driver or performed by an administrator, removes account access but does not automatically delete or anonymize sporting history. Lap times, laps, karting sessions, results and rankings remain attributed to the driver by name. The retained profile is limited to the display name, first name, last name, driver identifier and sporting information needed to link and present those results. Existing visibility restrictions are preserved.
Profile and cover photos, biography, date of birth, gender, nationality, place of residence, contact details and claim tokens are removed from the profile. Sign-in access and sessions are deleted. The minimal profile can no longer be used to sign in.
Retention serves to attribute sporting history and maintain its consistency, for as long as necessary to present the relevant results and rankings. It does not waive any personal data rights. Requests for rectification, objection, restriction or erasure are assessed individually through privacy@sectorkart.com, subject to applicable law. See the privacy policy.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, restrict and object to the processing of your data. A full export of your account and a deletion request are available from your settings.
Liability
SectorKart makes every effort to provide reliable information and an available service, without being able to guarantee:
- the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of lap times, rankings and circuit information, which depend on data submitted by drivers, partner tracks and official organisations
- the absence of interruption, maintenance or malfunction of the service
- compatibility of the service with all timing and telemetry hardware available on the market
- the content of third-party websites accessible through links from SectorKart, over which the publisher exercises no control
The terms of use and terms of sale applicable to paid subscriptions will be set out in a separate document, published before commercial launch.
Applicable law and disputes
This legal notice is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory rules applicable to consumers.
In accordance with Articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, any consumer may use a consumer mediation service free of charge to settle a dispute amicably.
