Release notes

Latest updates for the desktop apps.

Version 1.1.2

17 May 2026

LapTics
  • New

Bulk XRK/XRZ import: a new window lets you add several files at once and fill in useful details during import, including pilot, category, session type, weather, temperatures, kart number, chassis and tyres.

  • Improvement

More convenient prefill: when preferences already exist for a pilot, LapTics reuses them automatically. Chassis brands and models now also use SectorKart reference lists.

  • New

Bulk export to SectorKart: you can publish several sessions in one operation, including kart setup and weather, while checking sessions already sent to avoid duplicates.

  • Fix

More reliable session dates: dates sent to SectorKart are now formatted more safely, preventing export errors and wrong dates when publishing.

  • Improvement

Verified laps: exports from AiM/XRK files are now better recognized by SectorKart as device-based laps and shown with the correct trust level.

  • Fix

Sync stability: fixes for errors that could happen during bulk export, better handling of sessions deleted on SectorKart, and fewer duplicate-related blocks.

Version 1.1.1

LapTics
  • Fix

Critical fix: month/day inversion when importing AiM files (XRK and CSV exported by MXS, EVO4, RS3… devices). These files encode dates in MM/DD/YYYY format; a bug was misreading ambiguous dates (month ≤ 12 and day ≤ 12) as DD/MM, swapping month and day. Example: a session from October 1st 2025 was recorded as January 10th 2025. The parser now defaults to MM/DD format, matching AiM firmware.

  • New

Automatic migration on startup: on the first launch after the update, LapTics automatically corrects the dates of all previously imported sessions. An “Updating…” screen is shown during the process, then the session list reloads automatically. This migration only runs once.
